Developing A Heart for Israel

We believe we are to take the Gospel to the whole world, but there is an order that God set up, and that is to the Jew first. At Gateway Church, we believe that Jewish Ministry exists to proclaim God’s love to the Jewish community and connect Christians to Israel and the Jewish roots of the Christian faith. A first step in developing a heart for Israel is to begin to pray for the nation and its people.

Pray for the peace of Jerusalem

One way we can bless Israel is through prayer. We need to continually be praying for the peace of Jerusalem. When you pray about something, you become burdened and concerned about it. God wants us to pray for Jerusalem, which will lead us to pray for the Jewish people and Israel.

Pray for the peace of Jerusalem may those who love you be secure.
